Jo has been
playing in brass bands for the last 20 years having
previously played with Crosskeys Silver Band.
She is a registered child minder and professional face painter
and is married to Dave, one of our Bb Bass players.
Jo and Dave have two children.
Tia, learning Flugel Horn and Lois, soon to be learning the cornet.
Jo says “my proudest moment was playing at the Royal Albert Hall
for the 2000 national finals”.
Her favourite piece of music is "Oregon" and her least favourite is
"Colonel Bogey".
Jo’s most embarrassing moment was tuning up for a march through
Cowbridge
and realising she had left her cornet at home.
