December
The Vale of
Glamorgan Brass band have been kept very busy during
the month of December. We were delighted to be asked again to participate in
the Dinas Powys Medieval Fair and to be involved in the Mayor’s Charity
Concert
along with the Cardiff Male Voice Choir and the Canton Singing Company
of the
Salvation Army.
In addition
the band has been pleased to take part in carol
concerts and services and as always we were thrilled to present a
programme of
music to the Pensioners of the Gas Board, this year held in the
beautiful United
Reform Church in Cardiff. Support from VCVS
The band
committee and members wish to record their thanks to the
Vale Centre
for Voluntary Services for their kind support. The latest grant has
enabled the band to purchase mutes and holders for the Cornet and
Trombone sections.
